In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Phoenix Country Day Eagles.

The Wolves (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies enter the 5A - East Sky challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Horizon beat Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Phoenix Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
