Kentucky High School Soccer - Owensboro knocks off Barren County
September 20, 2025: Owensboro, KY 42301 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Owensboro Red Devils soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 win over the Barren County Trojans.
The Red Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Maroons enter the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Madisonville-North Hopkins tipped Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 22. Barren County will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Marion County (Lebanon, KY).
