September 20, 2025: New Windsor, NY 12553 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY) and the host Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY), saw Our Lady of Lourdes's soccer squad knock off Cornwall Central by a score of 4-2.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Academy (Esopus, NY). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Mount Academy nipped Rondout Valley (Accord, NY), 7-0, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newburgh Free Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Cornwall Central will meet a Goldbacks team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 4-0.
