Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Lions now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a outing on Wednesday, September 24.

With the loss, Ambassador Christian School drops to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to confront the Lancers in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 23. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Legion Collegiate Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC)
