North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Lakers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV). The Bighorns come into the challenge with a 2-10 record.

Next, the Nighthawks play the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a game, on Friday, September 26. Silver Stage will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV).
