Illinois High School Soccer - Marengo toppled by Aurora Central Catholic
September 20, 2025: Marengo, IL 60152 Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Aurora Central Catholic advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to clash with the Friars in a Chicago Catholic test on Thursday, September 25. The Friars come into the test with a record of 5-3. Fenwick 1-1 in their recent league outing against St. Rita (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Indians play the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River outing, on Monday, September 22. Marengo will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Rockets go into the outing with a 8-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL).
