September 20, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) soccer team routed the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), by a count of 5-0.
The Flyers now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Franklin County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Meade County moves to 6-6 on the year. The Green waves travel to Bardstown (Bardstown, KY) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23.
