Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Gateway knocks off Kiski Area
September 20, 2025: Vandergrift, PA 15690 The Gateway Gators soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Kiski Area Cavaliers to 0 in the Gators non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gators now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Springdale for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Gateway will play a Dynamos squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Dynamos record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Kiski Area moves to 3-8 on the year. The Cavaliers host Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Titans in a WPIAL AAA 1 bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Shaler Area won 2-1 in their recent league game against Mars (Mars, PA)
