Kentucky High School Soccer - Lafayette knocks off Scott County
September 20, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Lafayette Generals soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Scott County Cardinals.
With the triumph, Lafayette advances its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Generals host Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Commodores in a District 43 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Commodores come into the test with a record of 4-8. Tates Creek won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)
The Cardinals now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bluegrass United for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Scott County will play a Bluehawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY). The Bluehawks record now stands at 3-1.
