Michigan High School Soccer - West Ottawa knocks off Mona Shores
September 20, 2025: Norton Shores, MI 49441 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI) and the host Mona Shores Sailors (Norton Shores, MI), saw West Ottawa's soccer squad triumph over Mona Shores by a count of 5-0.
The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Eagles enter the Ottawa-Kent - Red battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Hudsonville was overwhelmed by Portage Central (Portage, MI), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Sailors meet the Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Mona Shores will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the match with a 7-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI).
