September 20, 2025: Dexter, GA 31019 West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 5-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, West Laurens upgrades its record to 18-3 on the year. The Raiders host Westside (Augusta, GA) to confront the Patriots in a 3A Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 23. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 1-7. Westside lost 20-0 in their recent league match against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA)
In their next game, the Greyhounds confront the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) in a 4A Region 2 match, on Wednesday, September 24. Jones County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record.
