September 20, 2025: Ackley, IA 50601 AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, AGWSR advances its record to 4-12 on the season. The Cougars host South Hardin (Eldora, IA) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 7-6. South Hardin lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA)
With the loss, East Buchanan drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Central City (Central City, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Central City lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)
