Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Appomattox County improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Raiders host Orange County (Orange, VA) to meet the Fighting Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Fighting Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Orange County lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA)
