Indiana High School Volleyball - South Newton can't hold off Bloomington North

The Bloomington North Cougars tipped the visiting South Newton Rebels volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves (Terre Haute, IN) in a Conference Indiana game, on Tuesday, September 23. Bloomington North will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Braves enter the game with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN).

With the loss, South Newton drops to 11-9 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Covington (Covington, IN) to confront the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 10-7. Covington won 3-0 in their recent league match against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN)
