In Saturday's non-league test, the host Butte County Pirates volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Capital Golden Eagles.

With the win, Butte County improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Pirates host Alturas Prep (Idaho Falls, ID) to face the Pumas in a test on Tuesday, September 23. The Pumas go into the test with a record of 1-2. Alturas Prep lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Grace (Grace, ID)

The Golden Eagles now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Snake River for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Capital will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over American Falls (American Falls, ID). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.
