Couch Indians (Myrtle, MO) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Thayer Bobcats (Thayer, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mansfield (Mansfield, MO). The Lions come into the Class 1 District 7 challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Mansfield beat Niangua (Niangua, MO), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dora for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Thayer will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.
