September 20, 2025: Heppner, OR 97836 Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Culver Bulldogs (Culver, OR), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Heppner upgrades its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. McLoughlin lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Echo (Echo, OR)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Culver will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Grant Union (John Day, OR).
