The Cougars (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints enter the Mississippi Valley-Valley contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Xavier was knocked off by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bears battle the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 22. Danville will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Chiefs enter the contest with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IA).
