Arizona High School Volleyball - Deer Valley tips Scottsdale Preparatory Academy

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Deer Valley Skyhawks volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans.

With the win, Deer Valley advances its record to 5-9 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 11-6. ALA - Queen Creek won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)

The Spartans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Joya Community for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will face a Fighting Lobos squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 3-3.
