Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Franklin Admirals (Franklin, TN) and the visiting Valor College Prep Wildcats (Nashville, TN), observed Franklin's volleyball team hold off Valor College Prep by a count of 2-1.

The Admirals (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Arlington (Arlington, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 21-2 record. In their last contest, Arlington got by Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Valor College Prep will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-6.
