Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL) and the visiting Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL), observed Holly Pond's volleyball team hold off Glencoe by a count of 2-1.

The Broncos (19-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Kate Duncan Smith DAR got by North Jackson (Stevenson, AL), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 20. Glencoe will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL).
