Arizona High School Volleyball - Mesquite over Mountain View

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ), observed Mesquite's volleyball team top Mountain View by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats enter the 4A - Desert Sky contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Saguaro beat Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Mountain Lions meet the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 5A - Sonoran contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ).
