September 20, 2025: Roanoke, IL 61561 Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Midwest Central improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Delavan (Delavan, IL) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-14. Delavan lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Bede (Peru, IL)
The Rockets now own a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Fieldcrest for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. Roanoke-Benson will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.
