Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 15-2 on the season. The Cubs host Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to face the Skippers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Skippers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Mandeville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA)
