September 20, 2025: Mt. Vernon, IA 52314 The Red Oak Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Mt. Vernon Mustangs to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now have a 16-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Red Oak will confront a Lynx squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 5-11.
The Mustangs (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Stormin' Pointers enter the non-league game with a 15-7 record. In their last game, Center Point-Urbana gained a win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
