Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) and the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), observed Wirt County's volleyball team top Nicholas County by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wahama (Mason, WV). The White Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Wahama was knocked off by Meigs (Pomeroy, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now own a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27.
