California High School Volleyball - Notre Dame can't hold off Tamalpais

September 20, 2025: Belmont, CA 94002

The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks tipped the host Notre Dame Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Red Tailed Hawks now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Redwood for a Marin County bout on Wednesday, September 24. Tamalpais will clash with a Giants team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Giants record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Notre Dame drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mercy (Burlingame, CA) to confront the Bears in a West Bay - Foothill match on Tuesday, September 23. The Bears enter the match with a record of 6-5. Mercy lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Menlo School (Atherton, CA)
