California High School Volleyball - Valley Christian tips Sacred Heart Prep

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA), saw Valley Christian's volleyball squad nudge Sacred Heart Prep by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Valley Christian improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to encounter the Crusaders in a West Catholic battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 6-4. Archbishop Riordan lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)

The Gators now have a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harker for a West Bay - Foothill contest on Tuesday, September 23.
