Tintic Miners (Eureka, UT) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Miners (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dugway (Dugway, UT). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Dugway went down by Wendover (Wendover, UT), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Leopards now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lund for a 1A Eastern test on Friday, September 26.
