September 21, 2021: Hobbs, NM 88240 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) and the visiting Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM), saw Hobbs's soccer squad triumph over Santa Teresa by a count of 5-0.
The Eagles now hold a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roswell for a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, September 28. Hobbs will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Santa Teresa drops to 6-4 on the season. The Desert warriors host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, September 25. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 3-5. Valencia lost 1-0 in their recent league test against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
