September 21, 2021: Big Spring, TX 79720 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) and the visiting Veribest Falcons (Veribest, TX), saw Big Spring's volleyball squad beat Veribest by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Big Spring upgrades its record to 16-17 on the year. The Steers host Estacado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Matadors in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Saturday, September 25. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 3-20. Estacado lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Idalou (Idalou, TX)
The Falcons now own a 20-5 record. They play next when they host Bronte for a 2A Region I District 7 bout on Saturday, September 25.
