In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the battle the West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) in a AAA Area 7 contest, on Tuesday, September 28. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to better on its 19-12 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 10-18 record after their 3-0 non-league win over East Hall (Gainesville, GA).

With the loss, Mountain View drops to 15-15 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 23.
