The George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) football overcame the host Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), 26-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Far Northeast Warriors Warriors (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 29. George Washington will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO).

The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Adams City (Commerce City, CO). The Eagles enter the 4A Metro 2 bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Adams City was toppled by Northfield (Denver, CO), 62-0, in a non-league bout.
