September 21, 2023: Hagerstown, MD 21742 North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), 8-1 in a non-league outing.
With the win, North Hagerstown advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hubs travel to South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD) to battle the Rebels in a MVAL - Antietam outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 0-7. South Hagerstown lost 8-0 in their recent non-league outing against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD)
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) in a MVAL - Chesapeake outing, on Tuesday, September 26. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Cadets go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 5-0 league loss to Tuscarora (Frederick, MD).
