September 21, 2023: Puyallup, WA 98373 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the host Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA), saw Sumner's soccer squad knock off Rogers by a count of 2-0.
The Spartans now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Bellarmine Prep for a 4A South Puget Sound test on Tuesday, September 26. Sumner will meet a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Rogers drops to 1-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA) to meet the Jaguars in a 4A South Puget Sound test on Saturday, September 23. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-4. Emerald Ridge lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Puyallup (Puyallup, WA)
