North Carolina High School Football - East Rowan drops to Northwest Cabarrus

September 21, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28146

In Thursday's non-league game, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football team knocked off the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), by a final score of 39-14.

The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their game against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, West Rowan toppled South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 22-6, in a non-league game.

The Mustangs now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. East Rowan will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-16 non-league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
