With the triumph, Hickory improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Red Tornadoes host St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 28. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 4-1. St. Stephens won 28-0 in their recent non-league contest against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
