The Highlands Highlanders held off the visiting Rosman Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Highlanders now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Highlands will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 13-1.

The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Avery County (Newland, NC). The Vikings enter the test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Avery County held off Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
