September 21, 2023: Cameron, NC 28326 The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaforth for a non-league game on Monday, September 25. Union Pines will meet a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 10-2.
The Yellow Jackets (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks enter the non-league game with a 11-2 record.
