September 21, 2023: Tinley Park, IL 60477 Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Thunderbolts confront the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Andrew will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
The Porters now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23. Lockport will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
