September 21, 2023: Downingtown, PA 19335 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) and the visiting Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA), saw Bishop Shanahan's soccer squad get by Oxford by a count of 2-1.
The Eagles now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Interboro for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Bishop Shanahan will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Chester (Chester, PA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Oxford drops to 0-4 on the season. The Hornets host Octorara Area (Atglen, PA) to meet the Braves in a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. The Braves come into the test with a record of 4-1. Octorara Area won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Lebanon (Lebanon, PA)
