September 21, 2023: Milo, ME 04463 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) and the visiting Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME), saw Penquis Valley's soccer squad get by Machias by a count of 2-1.
The Patriots now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Jonesport-Beals for a Class D - North test on Saturday, September 23. Penquis Valley will meet a Royals squad coming off a 6-1 league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Royals record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Machias drops to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME) to meet the Patriots in a Class D - North test on Saturday, September 23.
