The Alleghany Trojans topped the visiting South Stokes Sauras volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Alleghany will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

The Sauras (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears enter the Northwest 1A test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Mount Airy gained a win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
