September 21, 2023: Dover, DE 19901 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the McKean Highlanders (Wilmington, DE) and the host Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), saw McKean's volleyball squad nip Early College by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, McKean upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Highlanders host Howard (Wilmington, DE) to play the Wildcats in a Blue Hen Flight - B bout on Friday, September 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Howard won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE)
The Hornets now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a Henlopen South bout on Tuesday, September 26. Early College will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 0-0 non-league First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-3.
