English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar match, on Monday, September 25. English Valleys will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Savages come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).

With the loss, Tri-County drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Trojans host Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a South Iowa Cedar match on Monday, September 25.
