September 21, 2023: Somerville, TN 38068 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Fayette Academy Vikings (Somerville, TN) and the visiting Fayette Ware Wildcats (Somerville, TN), saw Fayette Academy's volleyball squad beat Fayette Ware by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Fayette Academy upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Middleton (Middleton, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-5.
The Wildcats now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Bolton for a AA District 15 bout on Monday, September 25. Fayette Ware will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Raleigh-Egypt (Memphis, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-8.
