September 21, 2023: Jasper, AL 35504 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) and the visiting Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL), saw Jasper's volleyball squad beat Hayden by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Jasper upgrades its record to 19-13 on the year. The Vikings host Arab (Arab, AL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 23-5. Arab won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fairview (Cullman, AL)
The Wildcats now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Glencoe for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Hayden will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-16.
