Minnesota High School Football - St. Paul Central tops Johnson
September 21, 2024: St. Paul, MN 55104 The St. Paul Central Minutemen football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Johnson Governors to 26 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Minutemen now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harding/Humboldt/Open World Learning for a Northstar - Twin Cities test on Friday, September 27. St. Paul Central will meet a squad coming off a 40-18 league loss to Highland Park (St. Paul, MN). The record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Johnson drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Governors host Richfield (Richfield, MN) to meet the Spartans in a Skyway - Red test on Saturday, September 28. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-2. Richfield won 34-12 in their recent league test against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN)
