September 21, 2024: Roswell, NM 88201 The Goddard Rockets soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers to 0 in the Rockets non-league victory on Saturday.
With the triumph, Goddard advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Portales (Portales, NM) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2. Portales lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
The Hilltoppers now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Los Alamos will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 4-0.
