September 21, 2024: Marina, CA 93933 Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Marina Mariners (Marina, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Del Mar improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Dons travel to King City (King City, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 1-1. King City lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Leland (San Jose, CA)
The Mariners now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho San Juan for a test on Friday, September 27. Marina will face a Trailblazers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 2-1.
